Yesterday I had Librarian.
We decided not to take the bean bags as people were already sitting on them so Zainab, Alica and I thought we didn't need them that much.
I read to 3 little kids I read 1 spot the dog book, two fairy books and a different book witch I can't remember the name of.
We usually read for 20 minutes and then we pack up the books and return them to the library.
If I could change something I would've read inside the library as it was very cold yesterday and there were some little kids in the library.
Overall I think it was a good session of librarian.
Care value/Learner quality
I think I used respect because I made sure everyone got a fair choice of what books we read as some people wanted to read different types of books.
Leadership Trait
I think I used resilience because I didn't stop half way through as it was rather windy yesterday!

Leadership
This week I had an esol meeting and it was a little different!
Instead of the usual greeting people and helping them if they need help signing in and getting to room 16, Victor and I got to come to the first 15 minutes of the meeting to introduce ourselves as it's the last meeting of term 2!
I really liked staying for some of the meeting as I got to talk to some really nice people. When I introduced myself I said my name and a fact about my self. (My favourite sports Tennis.)
Overall I enjoyed greeting people at the start and going to the meeting.
Care value/learner quality
The Learner quality I used was communicate because I was very polite to the parents I talked to. I also had some very good conversations with some of them!
Leadership quality
The Leadership quality I used was Active Thinker because I escorted a lady get to a different meeting as she had no idea where room 17 was.

Leadership
Yesterday I had a very important meeting about leadership.
A few weeks ago my whole class did an action plan and as I come under the leadership group I had to organise a event.
Yesterday I had a meeting with Mr Mcallum to discuss what we should do. So we are having some children who performed at the multicultural assembly to perform at the open day. Thankfully MrMacllum has found 5 people who can do it so that is really awesome!!
The Care value/learner quality I have used
I used active thinking as in the end we came to a final dissuasion about what we should do and I also have done a lot of this on my own with organising the meetings and so on.

I used resilience because we had to change the original idea around a little bit because it was much better and suited more people.

Librarian
Yesterday I had librarian, as it was very damp yesterday Alicia, Zainab and I didn't bring the bean bags as we didn't want to get them wet.
We choose three books each, the books I choose were a fairy book, a book of kings and queens and a spot the dog book.
I read to two little kids who really liked the books, I also read the books that Alicia and Zainab choose.
Overall I enjoyed reading the books to the little kids.

Librarian

I actually really enjoyed librarian because it was nice and sunny and the bean bags were really nice when they're in the sun for a bit.
Firstly I got some books out that I either haven't read or I have read once.
I was reading to one boy and one girl, the books I read to them were spots books, which is rather funny because I used to read spot books when I was younger as they are a little old.
After reading to the little kids I was walking back with Alicia and I overheard one of the little kids I was reading to yelling so I got and check and their is a "little Kids" argument so I got the one I was reading to, to go and play with some of her friends because they were yelling at her, I would've told Peer mediators but sadly I couldn't see any at the time.

The care Value I used was respect as I respected equipment when I carried it over and back.

The leadership trait I used was integrity because I was being fair when briefly solving a problem.

Leadership
This week I was showing lots of leadership values.
Firstly I was taking the flag down the most this week. Reason being I get to school a bit later then Victor so he puts it up, which I'm fine with I don't really mind.

Leadership
This week I have been doing some leadership
Firstly we didn't have the best weather this week so on one of the days the flag was up it got drenched!
But thankfully we put up the Samoan flag the next day so it was okay! Mrs Smith dried the flag near her heater in her office.
This week we have been doing an action plan so we are planning something for the end of the term.
Also this we was an ESOL meeting so we had to greet some people, but they usually know what they're doing.
Care Value
The care value I used was active thinking because making the action plan did take rather long but it worked very well.

The leadership quality I used was Resilience because on the day of the bad weather I had to put the flag down! But I did it even though it was freezing!

This week I was at tech, I wasn't their last week because I was sick.
I think I was showing all the bus values, because I talked to the person next to me so the driver could concentrate.

Leadership
This week There has been a lot of leadership opportunities.
as usual I out the flag up and take it down.
We had a leadership meeting and I did some cultural stuff.
We also got the results back from the survey and I found it interesting about people responses and we will try and see what we could do.
Overall this week went well I got some things done and we got the results from the survey.

This week I think I have been a good role model.
Firstly I have been Putting the gear away that I have been using, for example I have been playing a lot of netball this week so I make sure to put the ball back where it belongs . (The red bin.)
Also today I went to te hapua and when we got back to school I made sure not to walk through any games that the juniors were playing. Lastly juniors come over a lot when I play netball so I have to be careful that no little kids fall over I also was a role model for getting involved.

Getting Involved
Today was the Bake Sale, so the student leaders helped out in the bake sale to sell as much as possible.
I was selling the food to the year 4's,5's and 6's.
I actually found it really fun, I ran over to classes to tell them they could get some food and I also sold some. The only thing was I didn't get to buy anything! So next time I'm going to but something before we start selling as it all looked so good!
Leadership trait
The leadership trait I showed was resilient because It was hard to get some stuff sold but we got a lot of food sold anyway.

Leadership
This week I have shown a lot of leadership.
First at the start of the week I attend a leadership meeting, during that leadership meeting I went through some multi-cultural day photos. I have also been putting up/taking down the flag a lot this week.
During this week Mrs Smith sent me an email saying not to out up a specific flag as the people who are from that nationality have left the school. I checked that before I put the Flag up.

Cross Country
Today the kauri team had cross country.
The years 7/8's went first and I was very nervous as the year 7/8's had to run 3 KM.
It was very hard but I tried my best and completed it, I got 10th place. I felt really happy once I got to the finish line because honestly I was so puffed but I felt ever so happy I competed it and did my best.
It also enjoyed watching all the other races because It was just as hard for them as it was for me!
Care value/ Learner quality
