Kapa Haka

Today I had Kapa Haka.
We firstly practised the school song, and the poi song and at the last minute we practised a song we learnt earlier in the year.
After that a lot of classes came in to watch us peform those songs.
First we did the school song twice, but the second time the classes joined in.
Then we did out poi song witch was rather hard peforming it infront of people.
Then we peformed out last song witch I remembered most the actions to!

Being role model

Today I thought I was being a role model to the younger students as I was helping a year one and a year 2 out with the skipping ropes.
Also my friends and I played with them and set up a few games so they had something to do so both them and my friends were getting involved.
Also when the bell rang I helped them neatly put the skipping ropes away.

Genrelise propeties of multiplication and division with whole numbers

W.A.L.T: Generalise properties of multiplication and division with whole numbers.

Question: Which property of addition is shown?
Answer: it is commutative because it is the change of order in addends.

Question: Whitch property of addition is shown?
Answer: Identity because adding zero to a number would change it and thats what identity is.

solo level: My Solo Level is Extended abstract as I have a full understanding of the goal and I can teach others how to do it.

Next step: Take a measurement test.

On The Bus At Tech

Today I think I was a good role model at tech because I was only talking to the person next to me and also I wasn't loud at all.
Also on the way back the bus driver pulled in because at that point the bus was a bit loud and I don't think I was being loud at all.
Also I did attempt to make space for 3 to a seat but people had more space of there seat for the people who didn't have a seat to sit on.
Overall I thought I was a good role model on the bus

Koru Games

Over the last 3 days I have been doing football for Koru Games.

I really enjoyed  the 2nd day of games because everyone had a way better idea of how the games were going to work.

Thinking back to the beginning of the year, I really improved on my dribbling skills as we practiced that alot in the traing and it came in handy for the actual games.

Overall I found the games challenging but fun and i'm really looking forward to it next year.

On friday I had Kapa Haka.
First we practised the school song and the actions for it.
We also did some poi, I have nearly learnt the poi actions to perfection!
The only thing I need to practise is the last bit of the song and keeping in time with it.

Peer Mediation

Yesterday I had peer mediation.
There were not many problems, but there was small and of problem when a little kid had a problem with other people and they didn't know where they were, so I told them that when they know where they are bring them to me and I will solve it.
In the end the little kid didn't come back so they must have been fine.

kapa Haka

Today I had Kapa Haka.
We practised our song and try to raise our volume for singing, now we are a lot louder.
We also practised some poi, i'm way better at it now as I have not some practise.
That's all we did for Kapa Haka.

My reading goal

Walt: I can apply some criteria to evaluate texts.

 This is my reading follow up. In the middle is the title of the text, in the rectangle is the language feature, in the circle is the language feature but in my own words and In the cloud is a example of where the language feature is found.

Complex sentances

Walt: I can create complex sentances to make my writing more interesting.

Here is my introduction of its highlighted then it has a complex sentence:
Teachers should wear school uniform

Why should students have to wear a boring school uniform when teachers get to wear something nice and warm! Also why do they give us a lecture on why we should wear school uniform when they don't do it themselves, see my point?

My next step is to get a new writing goal.
